This morning I noticed that yours truly will become part of the regular set of headlines at the Alamedans blog. I humbly accept the honor.
This blog started out on a lark. An experiment to understand what blogging is and how it works. In 2006 I believe I contributed all of 1 post. In 2007 I started writing a little more frequently, beginning with the obituary for my basset hound who had lived with me for 14 years. This year, my posts have been somewhat more frequent, although you canNOT count on me to hit a regular deadline.
What can you expect? All opinion, all the time. No fact checking. Lots of snark. Marginal writing style while criticizing everyone else's. You'll likely misunderstand what I'm going on and on about. Something completely random and outrageous from time to time, just because all of us can get "GRRRR" and a blog is a great outlet for that.
Lastly, no apologies. This is MY blog. I'm not a professional journalist, nor do I aspire to be one. You can thank Google for making it easy and free for hacks like me to open a public journal.
One thing I can promise is that I am always willing to be convinced otherwise. You are free to disagree with my opinions (however wrong you may be!). However if we all stay classy I think we all get to the goal line with plenty to spare.
Now can someone tell me where the document describing the submission process for Sun Cal's Proposed Master Plan might be? I want to know what happens after they submit on 12/19 and I can't find it ANYWHERE!
